SSL For Free is now part of ZeroSSL. With the new website, you can do much more than previously with SSL For Free, where you were only able to view the previously created certificates.
We prepared a few questions you might have about your certificates, accounts, and account access:
Rest assured, all of your previously created certificates will remain active and valid for their full duration. After they expire, you can simply "renew" them (or rather, re-create them) using ZeroSSL.
In this scenario, a new certificate needs to be created using ZeroSSL.
You can create a free account under the following page: https://app.zerossl.com/signup
After you've signed up, you will be able to issue a new certificate for your website.
A new account is needed for ZeroSSL. No information from your old account will be automatically exported into ZeroSSL
For a limited time, your old account data can be used for accessing your previously created certificates under https://www.sslforfree.co/login
Any certificates you've previously created will be accessible under the following page: https://www.sslforfree.co/login
Here are the steps you need to take to view previously created certificates:
1. Open https://www.sslforfree.co/login
2. You will be prompted to enter a username and password.
NOTE: This is not where you enter your old login details.
Enter the following:
Username: sslforfree
Password: 123sslforfree123
3. You will then be directed to the regular login page where you can enter your old login details
4. After you log in, you will able to view your previously created certificates.
